Nyavisa Technologies delivers enterprise-grade NAS systems, cloud backup, and disaster recovery solutions — tailored to keep your business running no matter what.
Most businesses don't discover their backup plan is broken until the day they need it. Backups report green for years. Then a server fails, a mailbox is wiped, or ransomware runs — and suddenly only two questions matter: how long until we're working again, and how much work did we just lose?
Those two questions have names — RTO and RPO — and most companies have never been given real numbers for either. Nyavisa Technologies exists to answer them before anything breaks, and to prove the answers with restores that are actually tested rather than assumed.
We're a data protection and IT infrastructure firm. Our work spans NAS storage, Backup as a Service, Disaster Recovery as a Service, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace protection, Identity & Access Management, and immutable, ransomware-resistant copies. We are a member of the Veeam ProPartner Network.
Most of that work is delivered remotely, for clients anywhere in the United States — a recovery plan doesn't need someone in the room to be designed, built, monitored or tested. When the job needs hands on hardware, we work on-site across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.
Who We Work With
Professional-services firms, healthcare practices, and small businesses where data protection is nobody's full-time job. Companies running an aging on-premises server somebody else set up years ago. Teams that assumed "it's all in the cloud" also meant "it's backed up." If losing a day's work would genuinely hurt, we're built for you.
Who You'll Work With
Nyavisa is a small team covering the two disciplines this work actually needs: backup and recovery engineering, and network and infrastructure. Everyone who touches client systems or data — staff and specialist contractors alike — works under a signed non-disclosure agreement.
Carl Dixon Jr. leads every engagement, with specialists brought in as a project calls for them. You get one person accountable for your recovery plan and a team behind it — not a ticket queue where nobody owns the outcome.
Over a decade in IT, including managing the data center for a South Florida city government — public-sector infrastructure, where systems have to stay up for residents and emergency services, records are held to statutory retention schedules, and recovery plans are audited rather than assumed. He later moved into consulting for small and mid-sized businesses.
He holds a bachelor's degree in information technology and is a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He started Nyavisa to bring that same discipline to businesses that have never had it — companies that believed they were protected, right until a restore was needed and the plan didn't hold.

Recovery Time Objective and Recovery Point Objective are the two pillars of any serious disaster recovery plan. Yet most businesses either don't know their actual numbers or haven't tested whether their backup systems can meet them. In this guide, we break down what RTO and RPO really mean, how to calculate them for your environment, and the steps to ensure your backup strategy actually delivers when disaster strikes.
